Vegas. One of the cheapest and quickest places we can get to from our tiny airport in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Vegas never disappoints. It seems in the past 9 years or so I've found myself there for so many reasons - bachelorette parties, 30th birthday parties, work conventions, girls getaway trips, work retreats, just because, etc. etc. It's always a good time.

One trip I had yet to experience was a relaxing and romantic trip there with just my hubby. We've both been there together with a group of people, but never just a quiet trip for the both of us. So, we did just that this past February.

Top Must-Do's -

1.) Stay at Aria in the city center. It will not disappoint.

2.) Rent a car a road trip to the Valley of Fire. Great day trip. Easy hike. Beautiful views.

3.) Eat! Some of the best restaurants in the world are in Vegas. Here are a few of our faves:

  1.  Jaleo in Cosmopolitan Hotel - Spanish Tapas
  2. Milk Bar in Cosmopolitan Hotel - Ice cream, cakes, cookies
  3. Wing Lei - The Wynn Hotel - Chinese
  4. The Bouchon Bistro - Venetian Hotel - French Cuisine
  5. Javier's - Aria Hotel - Mexican
  6. Hobak Korean BBQ - Off the strip - Korean BBQ

4.) Get the day spa pass and relax. We are usually major sightseers - so it was great to sit and relax pool side.
